Why become a member of the Social Security/Disability Lawyers Association?  There are many reasons, but perhaps the most important is to become a part of a focused, dedicated organization that specializes in your field of legal expertise.  The SSDLA works to bring together attorneys across the nation so they can draw upon the combined resources of the association to make a wealth of information about Social Security and disability cases easier and faster to find.

The association is also a valuable resource for people with disabilities and consumers seeking information and help.  Once they’re on the website, we’ll make available links to members in their area who can be even more helpful with their specific needs.

The SSDLA will also keep fresh, relevant and useful articles on our website so that members can stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field of Social Security claims and disabilities.  Content will focus on legal, medical and consumer issues from some of the leading lawyers and experts in the industry.  We invite your input and submissions as we seek to provide the kind of content you would like to see.

As part of our efforts to help you keep up your continuing educational requirements, The SSDLA will also be promoting and endorsing some of the country’s premier CLE seminars.  The association will help develop CLE seminars that are focused on your field of specialty, with the goal of also making them as relevant and timely as possible.

We also plan to hold annual national conferences for members to meet with their peers and gain insight through direct personal contact.  While connecting through the association’s website is one valuable resource, we believe there’s no substitution for the quality of face-to-face meetings with contemporaries and experts.

Finally, we will be making available discounts on goods and services that you can use.  Among the advantages of being allied with attorneys across the country are the savings that can be earned through a growing number of association members.

We hope you’ll see that becoming a member has a wide range of valuable benefits.  Annual dues are $150, and include a subscription to The Trial Lawyer magazine.  Annual dues are $100 for current members of The National Trial Lawyers.  Join us today, and help us forge the future.
